This position is required to have solid knowledge of processes in Markets Operations and provide subject matter expert support to all staff. The role requires the person to take accountability in providing superior quality while processing the transaction by the team. This will comprise scheduling and monitoring of activities within Bank's policies, adherence to procedures and agreed timescales. To lead a processing team which also includes taking responsibility for their collective performance and ensuring team's productivity targets are met. The successful candidate for this role will be considered the Senior Team Manager.

Driving strategic business improvement projects that provide cost reduction across all parts of Markets Operations and identifying operational efficiency improvements will be expected of you. The key is to deliver on service benchmarks by raising the standard of our customers experience such as service standards, customer satisfaction and customer process improvement

Desired Skills & Experience


Excellent communication, presentation, coaching and leadership qualities
Proven experience in Markets Operations and the best practice actions of all the related markets
Experience with ANZ used systems, such as Exigo, NZ Clear, Clearstream, Murex, MIDANZ
Organizational, leadership and time management skills
Financial dexterity to deliver the required service without increasing current cost or future cost pressures
Understanding the Business - sound understanding of the financial services industry and where ANZ is positioned in the market
Negotiation and internal relationship building
